Toasty turmeric cauliflower rice
The trick with this dish is to let the cauliflower burn a little, you get a great toasty flavour and this dish is faster to cook than boiling rice!
1 inch of Fresh turmeric grated
2 cloves Garlic crushed or minced
1 tablespoon Butter/ghee/coconut oil
1 tablespoon chopped coriander (optional)
Method: (As per YouTube video) Use a Blender to finely chop the cauliflower florets (this can be done with a knife, however time consuming).
Add the Butter/ghee/oil to the pan and once melted add the chopped cauliflower. Stir to mix the oil through and it sit still on the pan.
Add the garlic and grate in the tumeric. Once the cauliflower starts to toast on the bottom of the pan, stir through and let a fresh layer toast again on the bottom of the pan.
Once the cauliflower is yellow and toasty (not burnt) take off the heat, season with salt and pepper and add the chopped coriander.
